Human Interactions with Nature and Technological Systems (HINTS) Lab is a lab I have been involved in for half of my college experience. I've been with them since the current project first started. We are doing a study with the all-outdoor preschool called Fiddleheads Forest School (FFS). Our data collection involved going to the classroom daily collecting video footage of participants to be coded for patterns within the ways the children interact with their environment. This quarter after having returned from Australia, I continued helping with data collection (biking twice a week to the UW Arboretum where the school is located), and attended and contributed to bi-weekly lab meetings.
